Walking and Cycling

Lamorna is a centrally situated area for walking and the chalet is located on a lane designated as part of the Penwith Cycle Trail. The local Rambler's Association and the Penwith Footpath Preservation Society organise walks locally but if you prefer to go it alone there is a superb choice of long or short walks in the immediate vicinity.

Surfing and Diving

Safe bathing coves and beaches are in abundance in the area. There is excellent surfing at Whitesand Bay, Sennen and St Ives. Lamorna Cove is the ideal place for safe diving.

Painting

For those who enjoy painting Lamorna is a perfect place. In the early 1900's it was home to famous artists such as 'Lamorna' Birch, Dame Laura Knight, Augustus John and Charles Napier to name but a few. In the area around Lamorna there are many art galleries both large and small.
